Applying to SPUUR

Qualifications

Any full-time student – domestic or international – enrolled at any US university or college in the spring semester is eligible to apply to the UW-Madison SPUUR. Preference will be given to Junior- and Senior standing undergraduate students with scientific curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a serious interest in pursuing a PhD in a biomedical science field. Students planning to apply to veterinary school, medical school, or to any other professional degree program (e.g., PharmD, DDM, DNP) will be considered based on their interest in research, but priority will be given to those expressly interested in careers in research.
